About Us
This all started with an I wanna buy a horse...
In 2001 we were lucky enough that we could purchase our 100 years old ranchhouse right in the middle of Hortobagy National Park (close to small town called Tiszacsege) which is well known as the homeland of hungarian cowboys, wranglers and shepherds. We started with horse and sheep breeding and in 2005 we bought our first cow and in 2009 we sticked to Angus breed.

The world's top Angus genetics in Europe
The basis of our economy is the breeding of Angus cattle.
Using the world's leading genetics, our main goal is to breed individuals with good production characteristics and at the same time excellent meat quality.
Kun Ranch has priority breeder status with the British Beef Cattle Breeders Association and is an active member of the American Angus Association and the Red Angus Association of America.
Our farm is one of the main pillars of Hortobágy Angus®, thus the breeding indicated by the Certified Hungarian Angus Hús® trademark.
Founding Partner
